We are late starters - so a lot of catching up to do!!
We are just building the boat - from Cedar Strip Planking on Ply Frames
She is a bit ambitious with a wing sail. After going through a few design iterations - Schooner, Balestron, Mi6. But since I understand wings ( www.provenenergy.com ) I opted for the difficult but simple balanced wing.
We are using the wind for steering to try to save electrical power.
Hopefully trials will begin on the Clyde above in April - we may not make it to Austria.
